New Leaf Interiors

Our summer cottage had flooded after a tough winter and had to be completely gutted to the studs. We looked to find a professional who could help create a rustic cottage environment that "hugged you" when you walked in the door! Thankfully we were lucky enough to randomly (internet search) reach out to Gretchen and her team at New Leaf Interiors...and wow, did they ever deliver! From our very first meeting, Gretchen did a terrific job of listening and gathering information to develop concepts that met our wishes. At the same time, she offered a ton of suggestions and options for us to consider, which we really appreciated as part of the process of landing on what we wanted to do, and what we ultimately could afford to do. I have since done a second project with Gretchen and her staff and was equally pleased with the outcome, as well as the process. Most of all, we truly enjoyed her passion for what she does, her creative, outgoing, energetic and "can do" attitude, and most of all, excellent work habits and communication ability. She always did what she said she was going to do, and she's earned our utmost confidence and trust!

We had to rebuild our kitchen from the existing foot print, focusing on new cabinets and countertop. Gretchen and Amy were very helpful in drawing up a plan for our contractor and communicating with him when there were details that needed clarifying. Gretchen had a great idea for a possible future renovation, a floor plan that we hadn't even considered (that we may do some day).

Gretchen was very helpful with professional advice and ideas. She is a very nice and delightful lady! It was a pleasure working with her.

Gretchen is helping us decorate a kitchen,dining room area in French Country. She has been proven to be a very knowledgeable designer and very easy to work with. We are very pleased with the samples and ideas that she shared with us and with the people she chose to expedite the project.

I had the pleasure of taking a 4 week introduction to Interior design from Gretchen last fall. I'll never look at a room picture the same again with all she taught me to pick out from a simple picture . The photos of her clients renovations showed her keen eye, creativity and out of the box designing. I took what I learned and redecorated my open living room/dining room.

I first met Gretchen through our local Women's Council of Realtors chapter. She impressed me from day one with her professionalism, energy, and friendliness. I hired her to help me critique my living room/foyer/dining room in our old house...the design concepts I had put in place worked but didn't produce the polished look that I had hoped for. Gretchen complimented the overall look and gave some very helpful suggestions to create the pulled-together look I was seeking. I made those changes and loved the result. When I listed our home two years later, we received a full-price offer in less than 24 hours. According to the agent who showed our home, her buyers walked into our living room/foyer/dining room (which Gretchen perfected) and said, "This is it!" When we purchased our new home, we did a complete overhaul. Because I'm in the industry (Realtor), I felt mildly comfortable making the design choices, but our timeframe was very compressed, and choices had to be made quickly in order to meet our move-in deadline. Again, I called upon Gretchen to give me advice. She confirmed some of my selections but more importantly offered visionary design ideas for our foyer and master bath. When I later called her in a panic about making the final selection on paint color, she readily agreed to assist the next day. Gretchen gently steered me to the perfect end result in our home (including fabric selection for new furniture). She didn't impose HER style onto me. She listened to what I liked and wanted to achieve and asked all the right questions. She honored what I wanted while providing smart direction. She is very patient and respectful.
