I have been working with Sean for many years now and I can honestly say he is one of the best. No matter what design he is working on, modern/traditional or anything in between, his attention to detail and execution is impeccable. I worked with Sean on a high-end remodel of a Master Suite and small bathroom extension. Sean did an excellent job managing difficult finishes and custom construction, and was a pleasure to work with. He was very conscientious about ensuring that the job was completed to the satisfaction of the Owners and the design, and all the details came out well. Sean Murphy did a top down complete renovation for me in Sag Harbor. He and his workers were the most capable and careful construction team I have worked with. His initial estimates remained true through the job, no hidden expenses or surprises. He applies his vast experience to every task and often guided me away from choices that would have been mistakes. Sean is trustworthy, lovely to work with, and honest. He will only complete a task to the highest standards, he will not take shortcuts. His subcontractors had the same professional and reliable attitude and attention to detail. The end results of our building are stunningly beautiful and well crafted with no element overlooked or rushed. I would absolutely use him again in an even bigger scope and scale. We had a great experience with Sean and would recommend him to anyone looking to build something of quality with impeccable details that is built to last. Sean is a first quality craftsman (he built us beautiful furniture as well) and an outstanding contractor.
