Splinters Millworks

We first met Dave and Ros Sheridan at the Homes Expo tradeshow exhibition and we were immediately impressed with the quality of workmanship and innovated ideas. No one else exhibiting came anywhere close. We set up an appt and within a couple of weeks we were at the drawing board stage. Ideas went back and forth and it was great to see pictures in 3D. Ros is very much up on what's trending now internationally, so it was good to get the scope on what's new in Europe, etc and incorporate into mine. Dave was also able to create some ideas that i haven't seen in other kitchens, hence the WOW factor. We had previously contacted local companies and were told we'd have to have this here, and this there, but not with Splinters. And because it is all custom i must have the tallest, narrowest, pantry i have ever seen and it works just like i had in mind. Dave was also able to create the glass cabinets i had always wanted but was told it wasn't possible before. When the kitchen arrived and was being put together, there wasn't a single piece that had to be recut, replaced, re painted. This to me showed the professionalism and dedication to the job. The guys who work for Splinters were also great workers, speedy and efficient. I understand one of his apprentices just won an award, which shows the testament to the company's work. Basically if you have an idea whether for a kitchen or any part of the home that requires wood, Splinters can probably build it for you. Photos on request

Superb workmanship. Excellent cabinetry. Trained in England, has amazing skill with all woods, old and new. David did a terrific renovation of my tired, not very functional kitchen ,well within my budget, and provided me with great solutions in difficult areas. Couldn't be more accommodating and flexible, fun to work with. Highly respected by the other trades. I wouldn't have anyone else for my next project.
