Bill Tsui designed my guest house, and was the ideal partner - imaginative, straightforward, and cost-effective. He doesn't impose his vision, like some architects; instead, he really listens & makes adjustments, without compromising on excellence. He also talked me down from some of my crazy ideas in the nicest way possible. (Although I will get that periscope one day).

I have been working with Bill at Yu2e for a few years now and him and his team are the absolute best. His creativity, knowledge, and availability to assist in all phases of a project are amazing. I am a builder myself and there is nobody I would rather work with on a project than Bill and his team.

We had such a great experience working with Bill and his team. Unlike several architects we talked to, Bill actually listened to what we said we wanted and didn't try to explain how we were mistaken and should actually do Larger Project X, Y, or Z. Plan check went very smoothly, and this company was always on hand to explain stuff or answer questions, either from us or from our contractors. The end result turned out efficient and charming and exactly what we wanted. We hope to work with this company on future projects--the architects are thoughtful, smart, experienced, and just pleasant to deal with!

Bill did an outstanding job on our house. We had a tricky situation where we wanted to rebuild/move our porch and roof around a large tree. Bill figured out a creative way to reframe the porch and roof to go around the tree. The result looks fantastic and dramatically improved the curb appeal of our house. Throughout the process Bill was very responsive to our suggestions and questions, and I appreciated all the extra time he took to explain everything to us. Thank you Bill!

Bill Tsui of Yu2e was our architect on a ground up ADU on a Los Angeles mountain. We thought we knew what we wanted before hiring Bill, but his design expertise, steady guidance through city approvals and contractor recommendation resulted in a far more stunning home than we had imagined.

I am a general contractor and when it came time to work on our own house, we chose to work with Bill. He is able to maximize function while making the design stand out. In other words, he makes it look great without sacrificing usability. He is very clear with the process, has plenty of ideas and options, and is easy to work with...it's actually a fun process. Bill makes miracles and magic happen. Bill knows how to make a functional, aesthetically beautiful home without the dregs of excessive maintenance. Bill and his wife are an excellent team with a knowledge of the codes beyond even the inspectors knowledge - I kid you not. He is the architect to hire with his wife the engineer. Fabulous team.
