I think the stainless will look good...do you have pic of hood?

boxed in with the same cabinet design, really simple looks great unless you want to make a feature of a beautiful hood.

I agree that the stainless will look best in this case- you already have an abundance of cabinetry in the room. Very pretty kitchen, btw.

I think a stainless hood would look good. You need a focal point with all of the lighter tones, and more cabinetry would remove that necessary focal point.

Thanks so much for the very helpful comments! This kitchen was built from sketches I drew and I started to doubt myself near the end.

My kitchen is similar to yours, and I have a stainless steel range hood. I like the look.

All a matter of taste. I prefer not to look at range hoods and to have them behind a cabinet. But it's not my kitchen!
