    There would be no need to mow, but you would need to weed now and then. Irish "moss" is a small spreading perennial and won't get any bigger than shown.

      That is correct, there is no lawn in this back yard, it is all low groundcover.

      It will grow almost anywhere. It is hardy from zone 4b to zone 9. It does like a well drained soil. I would also recommend part shade in warmer climates.

      I'm sure they would, but I can't recommend using an invasive species as a landscape professional.
