Exactly. Good point. If I am entertaining and want to use the oven or micro...I will have a problem with the hinged door. Also, there must be an island near by....out of the photo...because there is no area on either side of the oven to transfer a hot dish too. The door is in the way to use the oven or pull-out shelf. I think the bar area would look really cool without the doors..... The concept attractive...however if the doors are desired....pullout doors would be the ticket!

These should be pocket slide doors where the wine is. Using these doors are not particular especially when using stove. I too am concern about the heat from stove & wine wrack so close. What material is used between the doors & wall?

Great concept - awful location. If you set out to design the worst place possible to store wine, this is a triumph. Heat sources from 3 directions directly around it. If the same thing were on a wall away from any appliances, it would be so much better.
