Patio floor?

Hi. Would you mind sharing if the patio floor is stamped concrete or bluestone? Or another material? Thank you so much for your time.

It's colored concrete that is scored with a brick trim. I'm not sure the name of the color though.

Thank you so much. I appreciate your quick response. We are renovating and our budget for true bluestone went out the window with lots of surprises in an old house!

**Last question-we were going to do stamped concrete in a 2' x 2' square pattern on the diagonal with a brick rowlock. Is the concrete you used simply stained concrete or is it stamped also? Do you remember the size of the squares? I really like the look of the simplicity of your concrete and would love to mimic that look here in my NC home.

I plan to print off your picture and show my contractor. Thank you for taking the time to answer! Your work is wonderful.

The concrete has color mixed in to the concrete mix. When it was originally poured it was almost black but as you can see it really fades. Don't be afraid to go bold. The score lines were hand troweled using a hand trowel finishing tool. (Not stamped) The score lines serve a purpose they're there to prevent the concrete from cracking.

My personal preference is to make the score lines further apart. It seems to make a space appear smaller with too many lines. Your contractor can advise you on this. Good luck!
