May depend on the materials. if both white, I don't see a problem. If fridge is black or stainless it might be an issue.

I think i would keep the sink as minimal as possible and I also do not understand the fad towards farmhouse sinks.This area will feel heavy at the best of times so keep it simple.

A "small galley kitchen" and "farmhouse sink" are contradictory terms. But, always go with what you love, you'll be using the kitchen.

We've had a farm sink for about 8 years and will never have anything else! Stylist and practical.

I think it would feel less heavy with a counter depth fridge across from it. But a white farmhouse sink really doesn't feel heavy to me compared to a hammered copper or stainless steel type. The farmhouse sink could be a point of visual interest to combat the kitchen being small. Food for thought:-)
