Hi Sonja-The counter top slab is made with concrete and crushed shells. We used the same material in a few different color ways throughout this project.

Wow. It really is amazing. We are doing a beach them in our bathroom and that would definitely be a wow factor. Unfortunately you are in California and I am in Minnesota. :( Any thoughts on how I might do something similar or what type of contractor to call about doing a countertop like this?

This is the perfect door. I have been searching for a dutch door for several months and this is by far the best I have seen. I also love the porthole . I am building a house on long island sound and would love to know how I can find a door like this. I plan to use a door like this for an entrance into a mudroom and also an entrance into a playroom.
