To me the floors look fine with the chocolate brown wall color. However, that's if you like a darker look overall. If you'd like to lighten up, yes, find a new wall paint color with yellow undertones since you say there are yellow tones in the floor. You could use grays, blues, greens....as long as the undertones work with the floor. Pretty floors! I have dark floor in my kitchen/dining area. Very pretty and very easy to clean...it's the keeping it clean that's the problem...Hee hee! We have 3 dogs ;-)

I would repaint if it was my house as I don't care for the two browns together.

Installing the floors horizontally instead of vertically would make the hall look less long and narrow. Installing wainscotting half way up the walls, maybe in white, would make a big difference as well.

So, obviously, the bamboo has a red brown stain. That is not a great color with either of you wall colors. Yes, I would consider changing them and I would lighten up. If the photo is accurate there is a ton of red in the floors so it would be best to go neural with the walls. From here, take a look at the fabrics going in the room, or rooms, and then select a neutral shade that works with them.

I think it works good, especially since the white baseboards add separation to both dark colors. What is the color of the ceiling? If you have an issue with how dark it may be, you may be able to lighten it up by painting by ceiling an off-white ! :)

The ceilings are white. As of now our couches are dark brown but were thinking we need to change that as well.
