So all three were platinum color? The variations were all platinum? Did they need to be laid as individual tiles?

Yes the color is all platinum in the three different finishes. The tiles are sold individually and do need to be laid the same. This layout was done by the installer and can be mixed up in any way.

Thanks for the reply. I'm excited to look at some of the tiles in a display room. The photo looks fantastic. Now I know a pattern for my backsplash! It looks fantastic and I love that they are recycled glass.

Forgot to ask what color was used for grout (also from Oceanside Glasstile)?

Yeah the tile is incredible, and I love that it is recycled too! Oceanside Glasstile uses Custom Building Products Grout and the color typically used with Platinum is called Snow White. You can usually get that brand at any home improvement store.

stephielellani- do you work with Oceanside or is this your project? Just curious because when I looked in person Platinum didnt seem to have this much variation in color. Some look almost like Shadow, Fleet blue or clear. Just checking because this have been my favorite backsplash :) Must be the lighting in the photo.

DDGBaldwin, yes, I've been with Oceanside Glasstile going on 6 years. Our designer Cathy Aroz helped with this design and confirmed that this is all Platinum in the 3 different finishes. What you are seeing is how the lighting affects those finishes. The iridescent tile is more reflective so it appears to have a much whiter tone in the picture, which in turn makes the matte finish appear to be much darker. I hope that helps!
