Need shade on deck sometimes

We have a deck with French doors from our living room that we love but it is too sunny for several hours in the afternoon. Beautiful view of the mountains that we do no want to block. Looking for solution - is there a pergola with a rolling shade? Would that work.

Hey. You have so many options for your "problem". Keep in mind, that exterior shades do much better when it comes to temperature management because they prevent the sun from hitting the glass in the first place. Solar shades are available in different colors (mostly black or earth tones though) and in light transmission of 3%, 5% or 10%...
