If you place your TV on one of the short walls, with a sofa facing it, your sofa will be the divider between viewing and reading areas. You can add whatever seating you have, along w tables for drinks, to complete the entertainment spot. Placing a sofa console against its back will give you a reading table or computer area. Bookcases will line the perpendicular wall behind the sofa, with additional reading chair, table and light in the corner. If separating the computer from the TV screen seems a good idea, one can be incorporated into your bookcases.

Don't start with a huge sectional. It will limit your other options. Divide the room into 2functions. Then make a plan on paper or computer. You will then have an idea of how big everything can be.
