placement of knocs

may I ask about the placement of the knobs. Why not in the inset, is this style more modern?
And on the top cabinets, why did you place knobs quite low. I am trying to understand what each placement achieves, which style it represents, Thanks

knobs placement can be quite personnel low knobs on top cabinets aid to access ( reach)
and the reverse on base doors we may align with doors sometimes centre panel can be quite thin also .The bin pulls look quite busy if you put everywhere and out of place on doors
