My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    I've followed the leads re: backsplash tile and have found what I think to be the color either? WZ's grammercy line: brownstone color or... from Waterworks, architectonics line (or something that sounds like that) possibly "pumice" color. They have a lot of colors. WZ has about 6 or so in this line.

      I'm also in love with this kitchen. Ive been searching through tiles and I think the backsplash tile used here is similar to Walker Zanger's Gramercy Park "brick field" in 2x6 Pipe Smoke: http://www.walkerzanger.com/catalog/popimage.php?mat=Ceramic&coll=Gramercy+Park&tab=Products&page=7

      I think the backsplash behind the hood might be light grey glass brick tiles, set in parquet style.
