HI all:
I am about to move into this condo- it has an open floor plan: living/dining combo. The pic with the fireplace is the right side of the room, the other the left side. The kitchen is directly behind divided by a bar. This is the layout of all of the condos in the unit. Many that I have seen have the same furniture design: dining table horizontal between the Kitchen bar and a horizontal sofa which faces the sliding door- coffee table in front of sofa- and chairs around the walls. I was hoping for something less obvious- and a bit more minimalist. The chair and loveseat below are two pieces of furniture that will be in the room. I also have a reclaimed wood long plank coffee table with peg legs (not quite as long as the loveseat), 2 wishbone chairs (which I might use with a small dining table that I don't yet have: my current table is too large for this space). I also want to get a vintage tiered side table. perhaps. Any thoughts/ideas of a not so obvious room layout? Any pieces that would be nice for this space? BTW, I won't be placing a tv in this room. I have a large painting that will go in that niche on the fireplace.
