We just bought this house and we'll be doing some remodeling prior to moving in - I'm having a hard time figuring out what we'll do with these brick walls/fireplace as I don't really care for the color of this brick. My style is more contemporary traditional so I've been thinking about white washing the walls? Any thoughts? In the den, we'll be getting rid of the left wall and will be opening it up to the family room and will be getting rid of the wood paneling - but what do I do with the fireplace? Thanks for your help!
