My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Based on this other view of the beds, the unit does not appear to be recessed.

    This unit is not recessed into the wall, it is a free standing unit that is mounted to the wall.

    I would be very interested in purchasing something like this for my apartment in New York. I want the look, but not the bunk beds. Would that be possible?

    That can definitely be achieved. If this is the case, you can always research online 'murphy beds' and see what pops up. The bunk bed we designed in this photo here are custom, but there is a wide selection of murphy beds with different storage compartments, bed sizes, and finishes you can purchase online.
