It's hard to say without seeing the layout of your home how the rooms adjoin each other.

I like to start with the focal point of each room. For example, in a bedroom the bed is the focus. What kind of wood is the bed, what is on your floor and do you have your bedding yet? Is your woodwork painted or stained.

The focal point of each room will lead you to the color for your walls. In the kitchen, the cabinets and countertops followed by your floor will lead you to the right color.
