We are buying a house that is traditional. This is a picture of the dining room. It's nice, but I find it very blah. We are thinking of adding wainscoting, doing a very light coffered ceiling and changing out the chandelier to be more modern in a silver tone. Our dining table is contemporary. Thoughts on whether this will work in this space? The picture is distorted. The room is 13x12 with 9 foot high ceilings. Thanks!!
