Perhaps some larger gallery frames with black and white photography resting on top of the unit and leaning against the wall? A little like I did in my kitchen, but you can obviously go with a larger scale frame. A nice wide white mat in the frame would keep it clean, and layer them with your other decorative objects...perhaps a vase with branches or something else tall and organic instead of the greens on top also.

How about a collection of tribal baskets? Something with pattern and texture would draw your eye away from the reflective surface of your wall unit.

Hi mspano, I like the contemporary feel of the TV unit but it is a bit large for the wall, and they contrast too much as far as color, I would suggest painting the wall a darker shade closer to the wood of the TV unit so it blends in more and read as a single plane.
