My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Dining and living remodel

We kept the persian rug, the TV cabinet, some antiques and the artwork. I designed the buffet and square table and had them custom made. The red chairs were upholstered with Robert allen's fabric. The idea was to add some modern touches in this lovely 1900 Outremont house. This family of 4 is now very happy !

      I don't typically design rooms with accent walls however, your red wall makes me question my belief. Good job.

      The look is very nice, no doubt about that. I was sad to see the antique sideboard or buffet gone from the dining room, that looked like a really nice piece and fit the character of the house. I'm glad the fireplace mantel remained, it's beautiful.

      Your dining room is stunning, love the chairs! But may I ask: is that the same table? I have inherited a dining set and will recover the chairs which I love, but not sure about the parquet-topped table. Did you paint/stain the table and sideboard or use something different?

      No khend, this is not the same table, the new one is 60" square and I designed the sideboard to fit the room, made in the same wood.
