This kitchen has already been remodeled before buying the home, but I really don't like it. Maple like cabinets, with darker beige granite, with beige floors and beige back splash and very sharp and square details/hardware. It all just does not look good to me. I am struggling with figuring out a great color contrast design without replacing that granite. We could resurface the cabinets and stain/paint, change hardware and replace the flooring. What could look classic and upscale with this beige granite????

We are also taking down the pantry wall you see to the left if the second pic and making that a kitchen island, so we will need to have a contrasting granite countertop for that island and match the island cabinets to the re-surfaced old cabinets.
