Okay, so my partner and I had just purchased a 1 bedroom apartment. The flooring will be French Oak, the ceiling is concrete, with a small gap which is where the heating/air conditioning and light will come through (above the kitchen cupboards). The kitchen cupboards will be dark grey and the walls are white. The apartment is in the process of being built but we've already started browsing furniture to get ideas incase our taste clash. We both have fallen in love with this couch. It is amazingly comfortable and wide enough for two people to lay down and we've fallen in love with the colour that it comes in, steel. With the room already being quite small and the dark colours, I worry that the steel colour on the couch would make the room look smaller so we're trying to work out what kind of coffee table and rug would be best to brighten it up a bit. This is our first place and we're very excited and want to make it perfect for us. What are some options that I could start looking at? Any suggestions could help.
