Hi what kind of flooring is used here? Type of wood as well as stain? Thank-you!

Hello, these are Oak floors. I had them refinished when I started on their job, they originally had almost an orange hue to them and were much lighter. We tried many shades of ebony staining to get them as dark as we could. Different wood will take stain differently, so you just have to test yours to see what will get you to the color you want. Thanks.

Hi, Love this. Do you happen to know if the floors are red or white oak? Also just to clarify, the stain color was just Ebony?
