These windows are Thermally broken Aluminum windows/sliders from Milgard in Anodized Bronze.

We haven't used the Fiberglass from Milgard but we're happy with the Milgard Thermally Broken Aluminum line and have recommended it to several clients. They are slightly less efficient but are handsome and allow for thinner frames plus they are a good value.

Just a forewarning for any Milgard client, these doors leak very badly. Milgard will tell you that they are designed to hold a certain amount of water. However, they have holes drilled on the ends for drainage. We recently had a storm. Water came in from the sliders that had weep holes. Our floors were completely wet on the first floor and second floor. I had a Millard rep come out to water test the Windows. He claimed it was the fault of the person installing. I don't know if that was Millard or a sub.

ralepine, Are you refering to the Milgard aluminum sliding doors or Vinyl?

We did our whole home in milguard and never had any problems, love them, excellent quality.

We just installed Milgard aluminum sliding glass doors and notice the door handle & frame flex when pulling the door open or shut. It just feels like the sliders are not very sturdy and may not hold up well. Has anyone else experienced this?
