Help with where to place the TV and entertainment items

I recently purchased this condo and have no idea where to place the TV and entertainment items (cable box, play station sound system etc).

Putting it in top of the fire place seem right nor does putting it next to it? My TV is 46" and we are really limited on wall space as you can see in the picture.

Please note this is the previous owners decor.

The tv most definitely belongs to the right of the fire place and the mirror needs balance on the left. Maybe a grouping of two stacked

Get a console for the tv next to the fireplace.
I would also bring the couch to the center of the room and create a walking area behind it. If there is at least 4 feet between the coach and the wall, you can add a console behind it with a lamp.

Maybe you could relocate the wine rack and place a mini entertainment center in its place. Use cord concealer to keep it looking neat. Here is a picture of my living room to use as a example.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I wanted to redo my fireplace since it takes up so much room....Is updating a fireplace expensive?

Consider TV above a console opposite FP. Float your sofa to face the view, floating in the center of the space which will help hide the white base cabinet from view of the seating area.
