Window suggestions for family room gable wall

yesterday
last modified: yesterday

My family room’s gable wall has 3 ganged square windows with an arched window over it that are 34 years old (see photo 1). The split level house’s exterior siding is being redone so now is the time to change out the windows. I like the gable windows for the light and the view from the kitchen which is a 1/2 level up from the family room (see photo 2).

What window(s) arrangement/size/shape/trim would you suggest? This part of the family room is 24’x24’, existing gable windows are about 78” wide, the peak ceiling height is 13.5’, the mahogany paneling stops at 8’ high with the gable sheet rocked area bring 5.5’ high.

After the siding/window replacement is done, I’ll be back for suggestions on replacing the room furniture which is old too.

Thank you!!!!
