I have leased a 100 year old industrial space with original tin tile roof and one full wall with exposed brick. My delimna is I wanted to paint the ceiling dark brown with a tan painted wall, my desks' are dark wood and distressed natural wood and furniture is in linen. The duct work is exposed in aluminum and I just bought pendant lights in aluminum as well. We are in the process of refinishing the cement floors. Will the dark brown ceiling be too dark?? Or should I stick with an off white for ceiling and walls?
