One thing you could easily do is beef up the posts along the porch area by just attaching pieces of wood to each side or possibly using a very thin rock veneer on them as well. Maybe just go two thirds up or whatever looks the best. Perhaps the cement walkway along porch could be colored using a spray on application. A stain of some kind. And the house could be painted a multitude of colors. What colors do you like or envision?

The front door looks nice and maybe some brightly colored front porch furniture would be nice.
