metal entry grate on deck

We are trying to find a small metal grate to place on the deck floor just in front of the door to our cabin.
We are installing trek decking and thought a 12"-18" deep, 2' wide metal grate would be nice to clean sandy or snowy feet off before entering. We would need it to be comfortable on bare feet of varying sizes. We were hoping someone might have suggestions on where to get such a grate.

You could have a local metal fabricator make you a custom grate. It probably won't be very expensive........I don't think regular hardware stores like Home Depot have these in stock.
I did look at Amazon.com and they had some but they were expensive.

Thank you for your ideas, it seems more difficult than I expected to find. Although it seemed like a practical idea, it must not be commonly used. I will see about the metal fabricators in my area.

I see these metal grates on the porches of so many house in ski resorts areas.
Someone is manufacturing them, but when I went on line to look for them, I couldn't find them........Someone out there in the Houzz community must know the source.............

I found a small family run metal fabricator in northern WI called The Old Iron Shoppe in Mosinee WI . I spoke to them today and he thinks it would be no problem to make one for us and he feels he can keep the cost down. He is working out the details with the fellow building our deck. If I get an image after they are complete, I can add it here. I really appreciate your tip.
