Use a photo like this for inspiration. If you want to keep red, I suggest leaving one wall red, painting others white or light neutral. Move bed so headboard is on feature wall. Do you have a plain wall with no openings that bed would fit against? If so, that should be the feature wall. Your bedding is too short for the bed, giving an untidy look even though it's not. Get some white bedding, sheets and duvet, making sure duvet is large enough to be either tucked or hangs over bed to cover box spring. Sheets with the hotel look of red trim would be perfect. Fold existing patterned comforter in three and place at foot of bed. I agree with flair the art is too large there and I would move the chair to a corner, where the desk is beside the window would be ideal. There are also too many pillows on chair, you only need one to make it look more inviting.
