This is Eseeola Lodge in Linville, NC where squared bark shingles had their debut under direction of the same Architect for the Lincoln Memorial in DC. You can view beautiful homes and resort buildings covered in Bark House brand shingles there. Although white was the traditional choice of trim color, the main lodge is now painted in million dollar red. It is a bold, bright red.
