Oooops! I remember seeing this dilemma on an HGTV design show. If I recall correctly, they removed the face of the smaller drawer and reattached it with a continuous hinge (with release latches inside) so that it folded all the way down, permitting the larger drawer to open fully. I think you will need to talk with a cabinet supplier to solve this one! Good luck!

I'm not clear on the question, but that smaller drawer doesn't look all that useful. I'd probably just remove the handle, fill in the holes and use it to hold a few things I don't use even once a month.

We had exactly this situation, but fortunately we were still deciding between two different styles of pulls. It turned out that one (a cup pull) was narrow enough to provide clearance, while the other (a european pull) wasn't. Decision made. So you might first want to see if there is a pull that doesn't come out quite so far. I have to admit, however, that your clearance situation looks a bit tighter than ours. I'm not sure, however, that I'm understanding the lazy susan part of your question.

Do you have enough of an overlay on the drawer front to make the drawer front a bit smaller thus clearing the handle? How much space do you need to clear the handle? This is a hard situation with limited solutions. The option of installing a tilt down drawer front with a drawer that pulls out is also a good solution based on how much clearance you have.

There are several options here. I'm assuming the cabinets are not new (because if they are, the cabinet person made a mistake in the corner, and they should fix the problem). First, if there's actually at least 3/8 inch clearance, you can use bail pulls which by nature do not stick out much. Second, you can move the front drawer face over by some fraction of an inch, allowing it to clear the other handle (no, it is not going to line up with the door any more). Third, you can cut off an inch or so of the drawer face and glue it to the cabinet face frame. Yes, there will be a line, but the remaining drawer front will clear. None of these are probably what you want, but they are ideas to consider.
