I like the shutter color for your garage and siding and black for your front door

Take a look at the Chip It suggestions from Sherwin Williams. I think blending in the siding and garage door colors to extend the color of the brick will make the house larger. I would also remove the shutters and paint the front door one of the contrasting colors. The black that pitbulls suggested above is great for your front door or go with one of the blues.

You have a lovely home that just needs a few little touches to bring out that elegant looking rambling ranch style (in a good way). Looking at the front of your home though, the very first thing I notice is the landscaping and the driveway both need attention. The landscaping looks leggy to me from here - too tall for the house proportionatly. A wider driveway with a wide walkway coming out from the front door to the middle of the drive, rather than hugging the house, would really ramp up the curb appeal. This isn't the right style house, but it shows you the possibilities when you have a wide walkway to the front door from the middle of the driveway with lots of room for planting beds (concept only).

Get a post wrap to beef up the porch post. Lose the shutters; they're improperly sized. Siding and garage door the yellowy-tan from the brick, trim in charcoal, front door black.
