We had originally wanted to go with Carrera Marble for our countertops in our kitchen; however we are worried about the maintenance so we found a slab called Arabescus White Marble that has more quartzite in it which is suppose to be more durable. So we are trying to decide if we should put that on all of our countertops or put it just on the island with quartz as the perimeter. If we were to use quartz on the perimeter, my question is what color should it be to tie in the marble island countertop? We are thinking about using quartz on the perimeter for easier maintenance. The island wood is a dark rich brown and the perimeter is off-white and I am going for a contemporary look. Thank you for any help!
