Great question. I care about the carpet, it can be expensive, I was looking for a neutral dark beige and wondered about it being too light for family room (rumpus room in Canada). I wondered if brown carpet was a trend not necessarily timeworthy. ( remember 70's brown shag) Suggestions for colours and brands very welcome. Thanks for your post.

There are so many options based on your carpet choice, reds, blues, greens, tans, taupe, really almost limitless. Sounds like a trip to the paint store with a sample of your carpet is in your future.

I like the color baked pretzel but I don't think it goes that well with the carpet sample you show.
