I had a similar issue with an old door knob. Its got hidden clips and it snaps together. Here is a link for a video that should help.

We put a cordless cellular shade on a similar window/door.

There doesn't seem to be a way to attach a traditional shade. I think I would need some tyro of cafe curtain rod but them that limits me

Is it a metal door? If so, you can use a magnetic curtain rod:

It's actually a wood door. I was thinking of traditional inside mount shade brackets when I first looked at it. Ikea sells some mounts I can use

We are attaching a picture of the door to the back deck. When we had to replace the door after Sandy filled the deck to the brim with over 3' of water and warped the heck out of it....the contractor suggested the full view door with mini blind in between the 2 panes of glass. Joseph was out on a job at the time and I thought those doors were only for the "super rich", ( I has some strange pre conceived notions sometimes and doors/windows are NOT my area of expertise), but he explained that it was under $100 more for this. WOW $100 to have a clean blind all the time and the luxury of privacy when we want it and open view of the almost back to beautiful garden, we just said "YES" . We love this door. Sorry, don't have time to flip the pics around the right way.

Those micro blinds inside the glass are amazing! I have a friend who did them in a guest/craft room, and it's great to have them stay clean, and undamaged with grandchildren and dogs in the room.
