Our house is a mid-century red brick bungalow. We have just added a black roof. There are 2 white vinyl bay windows in the front and a small white porch. All of the trim is white at the moment, the front door and garage door are a very dark charcoal. I would like to update the soffits and eaves and paint the woodwork to update the look of the house. I have been told that the vinyl windows cannot be painted, so they will have to stay white. I would love to do black trim, doors and eaves, but think it might be too dark, so I'm thinking maybe a dark taupe? Any suggestions?
