I think you can still go with white and yellow. Your bedding should be very simple, so as not to be in contrast with the glass (it's lovely by the way) and use combinations of whites and soft beige and yellow in the layered bedding and turquoise somewhere. [houzz=];[houzz=];[houzz=];

I agree, the pictures above would look very nice with the painting.

I would still go with the yellow and white color scheme but incorporate the blue in a bed throw.

BTW, it's a gorgeous painting by your daughter! Love it!

I would stay with the while and yellow. I love the while yellow and grey, but instead of the grey you could do blue but the blue.

Picking out a light turquoise bedding with light yellow pillows, what is the size is the stained glass? It is beautiful by the way. She is very talented.

Your daughter is very talented. Keep your bedding white or cream and pull in other colors with throw pillows and other accessories in the room like a dish on the bedside table, a vase on the dresser etc. Let the artwork take center stage and dont worry about the artwork matching...it should just coordinate.

Wow, what an awesome painting! I agree with the others, still go with your original plan of white and yellow. You'd have wanted a pop of something else to keep it interesting, and the painting will serve nicely. In your travels, you may happen across some glass tchotchkes with amber or turquoise tones, and they'd echo the painting nicely.

Do everything exactly like you had planned to, but use some aqua/turquoise in some pillows and a lamp, and maybe a touch in a rug. You would still have a white and yellow room, just with an accent color.

You can surely keep the yellow and white and add the turquoise ,look at this idea just add your beautiful piece of art that your daughter made for you .

I agree, go with the white and yellow that you planned. Sometimes a painting over the bed is just too much competing. Is there another wall that might work for the beautiful painting your daughter did?

Btw it's a very big painting, about 4 feet high. And stairheads, it's not upside down (but I see how it's confusing), too.

That's too large for over the bed plus you really might want a horizontal for the bed, if at all. Love the painting so if there's another wall that would big enough. The painting should be hung with its center 60 inches from the floor (on a blank wall--not positioned over anything)
