I'm designing the entryway to my home...it's a long hallway with no windows.

I'm thinking about a white on white, Asian theme. There is this square pattern I like, as seen in the photos below. From time to time I find pieces that are done in this same or similar design.

Question is in my design of the entryway how often can or should I re-use this pattern?

I see a lot on like about how to mix patterns, but little about matching patterns.

Can I continue to match this pattern with other furniture in a similar style? Will it look awkward? Interesting? Or should I try to break the monotony with other elements (round picture frame/mirror)
