“Our home is a compilation of additions, some parts dating back to around 1860. When we found the need to add on a family room it was very important to us that the design blend into our original look. There were also some views that I had with our home that I didn't want to lose in the remodel. Our city lot does not allow much room for expansion so we were stumped on how to gain optimal square footage without losing functional yard space. Our family room is beautiful. Amber took all our wish list requests and created a room that not only is functional and spacious but looks like it has always been here. She preserved the charming views I had before and added more with windows placed in key locations. We continue to get compliments on the design and roominess of our addition. “We hired Julie for a "second opinion" on an addition design for our home. The design we had come up with wasn't quite right, and the cost estimate was much higher than we wanted to spend. We told her we were looking for general ideas, and maybe rough concept drawings of a possible new design. She looked at our current plans and photos of our house, and reviewed my comments on the situation. After coming up with several possibilities, she came to our house with her laptop.
