I'd really like to minimize the green. I guess once I have the barstools it will make a difference. Any suggestions on type of barstools? Thanks!

OH and as long as your are minimizing.... how about scaling down some of the top cabinet clutter? ;)

I like that idea, Margo. Obviously I'm painting the cabinets so the doors back in place will go a long way. I hate all of the stuff on top but I don't know what to do with more than a foot of dead space up there. Any suggestions? Adding more cabinets out of the budget for now.
