I think the best landscape lighting are the kinds you can't really see the fixtures...just the lights shining up. I love to see the shadows the plants cast on the walls.

To my eye, landscape lighting that either highlights the house or landscaping looks the most impressive. The little solar lights that you stick in the ground don't really do anything for me. I'd focus a spotlight on your entry, and highlight your spruce as well. Your house is lovely, and landscape lighting would draw attention to its best features.
