Floor tile and details???

Lovely work with the tile details--
could you give the brand/style of the subway tile, the border pieces, as well as the floor tiles--
And what grout did you use?
Is tiling a full bathroom floor approached differently than jus the shower floor?

The shower & bathroom floor were tiled in Carrara marble hexagon tile, while the walls were done in a subway with putty-colored grout. Hope this helps.

In my opinion this is a 1" Bianco Hexagon Honed. Available online from The Builder Depot for $11.75 a square foot: http://www.thebuilderdepot.com/cabian1x1hexhon.html

We also sell a 1" Hexagon, 2" Hexagon, 3" Hexagon, 4" Hexagon and 5" Hexagon all Honed and Polished from $10.95/SF: http://www.thebuilderdepot.com/hexagon-mosaic.html

I was also wondering about the brands of tiles used. I'm renovating my guest bathroom and would love to get a similar look. I was planning on painting the walls a very similar gray-blue color, and love the way the monochromatic tiles look with the paint.

Hi Kairi, the flooring used for this project was American Olean, Porcelain Color Body Unglazed Ice White 1" hex tiles. Grout: # 185 New Taupe. We'd love to work with you to help design your bathroom in a similar way if you live in the Twin Cities area!

Beautiful design. I love Carrara Hexagon on the floor and then a Ceramic or Porcelain on the wall.

More Info. Handcrafted porcelain on the wall like this above is a great touch and not that expensive at $8.35 Sq.Ft..

Pietra Carrara 1" Hexagon Free Shipping. More Info.

Of course regular 3x6" Subway Tile. Below. More Info

The Hexagon is at various prices, I would opt for Carrara Pietra for $8.95 a Square Foot. It is a low price point.

Or shoot for a 2" Hexagon on the floor making the area look larger.

Carrara Bianco 2" Hexagon. More Info.
