Is this considered a porte cochere?

    No this is not a porte-cochère. It is a stand alone fireplace pavilion behind the main residence. It is actually quite some distance from the house in a side area. Yes, it is very grand and the clients use it all the time. I'm attaching an image that is looking through the porte-cochère at the house towards a parterre garden. I don't have any photographs showing the full thing.
