What did you use for outlet covers on your backsplash?

    Hello Amy,

    That's a great question, but we have a boring answer: Photoshop! There are outlets and switches in this kitchen, but we hid them with the magic of digital photo manipulation. There are some interesting tricks that a builder could utilize to keep switches and outlets hidden, too.

    Here are a couple of tricks that we do...that are practical and hidden:

    Both of these examples are using and angled plug mold (switches can go here too.)

    Great when you have a backsplash that would really be compromised with those darn outlets.

    When doing subway I like to turn them sideways and make them look like they are a part of the tile patten.

    Thats really tricky to get the to line up with grout lines - PM for for the trick if you choose something like it.
