We are starting a remodel process for our home. The location of the new proposed kitchen has no crawl space underneath. The contractor says that pipes can be built above the kitchen(to save on building a new crawl space). What are the cons of doing that ? We live in California so freezing pipes may not be so much an issue . We would rather propose a different location for the new kitchen if its better to have a crawl space . Appreciate help on this matter,
