Choosing DURABLE kitchen flooring

last modified: 12 years ago
It is time to update the floor in my church's kitchen and I would like to be guided to a durable, good looking floor that can cover the old vinyl tiles that now exist. It is a fairly good sized kitchen, and we can't afford to do real hardwood floors, but are wondering about the lifespan/strength of laminate, cork, or ceramic tile. I feel the ceramic would be the most resistant to damage, but also the least comfortable to stand on for long periods of time. Any recommendations?
